Loudness (dB)
Loudness is measured in decibels at a fixed distance (roughly arm's length, about 30cm) from the device during a single deployment — one click, one flick, one slide. It is not a lab-grade acoustic measurement; it's taken with a phone-based SPL meter under ordinary room conditions, which is enough to rank devices relative to each other even if the absolute number would shift slightly in a proper anechoic setup.
Recorded as measured.loudnessDb, and left null until we've actually taken the reading.
